About Julora

Healthcare should be easier to understand, not easier to oversell.

Julora was created for people who want a thoughtful place to begin.

We organize the process, explain what happens next, and keep clinical decisions with licensed healthcare providers.

Our principles.

  1. 01

    Start with the person.

The right next step depends on more than a category or a product name. It depends on your history, current medicines, allergies, goals, location, and the questions your provider needs answered.

  2. 02

    Be clear about the limits.

Online care cannot replace emergency services or every in-person examination. Some concerns require a physical exam, laboratory testing, imaging, or a specialist.

  3. 03

    Make room for questions.

Patients should know what they are being asked, why information is collected, what may happen next, what it costs, and how to reach the care team.

  4. 04

    Respect the decision.

You can ask questions, take time to decide, involve your existing clinician, or choose not to proceed.

Clinical responsibility.

Medical services are provided by licensed healthcare professionals through the applicable clinical entity. Julora’s administrative and support teams do not make prescribing decisions.

The treating provider determines whether an evaluation, treatment, prescription, or follow-up plan is appropriate.

The clinical entity

Medical services are provided by Beluga Health LLC, a professional medical entity that employs and oversees the licensed clinicians who review Julora assessments and write prescriptions.

Beluga Health LLC is responsible for clinical care, provider licensure and oversight, patient records, clinical policies, and telehealth requirements in each state where it operates. Julora Health LLC provides the website, the account experience, and non-clinical support, and cannot influence a clinical outcome.

Where your provider is licensed

Your treating provider is a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant licensed in the state where you are located at the time of your visit. Provider assignment depends on the service, your location, your clinical needs, and applicable law.

The name, credential and license information of the provider responsible for your care is identified in your care materials and in your account before treatment begins. You may ask for it at any time, and you may ask to be seen by a different provider. If you move or travel, tell your care team, a prior eligibility result does not carry over to a new location.

Clinical entity: Beluga Health LLC. Julora’s administrative team does not make prescribing decisions.

What we do not promise

We do not promise that every person qualifies, that a prescription will be issued, that one product will work for everyone, that a result will occur on a particular timeline, or that online care is appropriate for every concern.
